When Father Salvatore Anastasia comes to America, he is looking forward to meeting his family, including his brother, Albert. Upon his arrival in America he is greeted with much respect by his brother and by the Italian-American community of Little Italy; so much so that he decides to remain in America as assistant pastor in the church of Saint Lucia and bring it to a new shine.  What Father Salvatore doesn’t realize is that his brother is the head of the large crime syndicate Murder Inc., and despite Albert’s notorious reputation, Father Salvatore is unable to figure out the truth about his brother in this comedy based on real events (as interpreted by Padre Salvatore) of the Anastasia family.
